Custom Mouth Guard

Why wear a mouth guard?

Love playing sport? Many of us do. But along with the many rewards of sports, come certain risks to your dental health. That’s why we recommend that anyone playing sport should wear a mouth guard, particularly children and young people. From football to rugby to hockey, high-quality mouth guard will ensure that your teeth or your children’s teeth will be properly protected form dental trauma and the issues and expense that this can cause.

Custom-made vs. ready made

While readymade or mouth-formed “boil and bite” mouthguards are available, they dont provide the best level of protection when playing sport. Custom-made mouthguards are much better at preventing serious injury because they fit an individual’s mouth and can be made to different thicknesses and designsPrevention is central to our ethos here at Rectory HouseWe provide bespoke mouth guards which give the best level of protection against the risk of dental injury and trauma. Custom mouthguards are particularly important for children involved with sport because their relatively new adult teeth will be more vulnerable to knocks and bumps.
